GlucIQ Premium is sold through the App Store or Google Play. These terms form part of the Terms of Use. Where they conflict with the store’s own terms or with a mandatory consumer protection rule that applies to you, the store’s terms or the mandatory rule prevails.
What you buy
Premium unlocks the paid features described in the App and in the store listing at the time of purchase. The store listing carries the current scope. Features that are free stay free. We do not move an existing free feature behind the paywall for a period you have already paid for.
Premium comes in several billing periods, for example weekly, monthly, three months and yearly. The plan you select, its price in your local currency, and any introductory offer or free trial that applies to your account appear on the purchase screen inside the App and in the store listing before you confirm. That screen is the authoritative disclosure for your purchase.
How billing works
Payment is charged to the payment method on your Apple Account or Google account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends. The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price, and the store charges it within 24 hours before the current period ends. It keeps charging that way until you cancel.
The store manages your subscription. We receive the subscription status and a transaction reference, not your payment details.
Prices are set per store and per region, include or exclude taxes as the store applies them, and can differ between platforms and countries. If a payment fails, the store may retry and may suspend your entitlement; Premium can stop working until the payment succeeds. Premium covers a single account and is not transferable. Family sharing and promotional codes are available only where the store offers them.
Free trials and introductory offers
If you are eligible for a free trial or an introductory price, the purchase screen states its length and the price that applies when it ends. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Eligibility is the store’s rule, not ours, and it normally allows one trial per store account. A trial cannot be reinstated once used.
How to cancel
Cancel in your store account. Deleting the App, signing out, or deleting your GlucIQ account does not cancel a subscription.
- App Store (iOS and iPadOS): Settings on your device, tap your name, then Subscriptions, select GlucIQ, and tap Cancel Subscription. You can also manage it at account.apple.com.
- Google Play (Android): Google Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, select GlucIQ, and tap Cancel subscription. You can also use the Google Play Subscriptions Center.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next charge. Premium stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then the account returns to the free scope. Your records stay in the App. You lose access to the Premium-only features.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by the store that processed the payment:
- Apple: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, or follow the store’s instructions. Apple decides the outcome under its policies.
- Google: request a refund through Google Play under Google’s refund policy.
We never received the payment, so a refund is not ours to issue. If the store grants one, we may be notified and the entitlement ends. Where the law gives you a right to withdraw from a digital-content purchase or a right of cancellation, or where the store’s policy is more favorable, that right applies regardless of this page. In the European Union or the United Kingdom, nothing here reduces your statutory rights. That includes your right to a remedy if the digital content is not as described.
Price and plan changes
We may change prices or retire a plan. A price change does not apply to a period you have already paid for. Where the store rules require it, the store notifies you in advance and asks you to confirm the new price before the next renewal. If you do not accept it, the subscription ends at the end of the current period. If we discontinue Premium entirely, existing subscribers keep access until the end of the period they paid for, and we give reasonable notice.
Restoring a purchase
If you reinstall the App or switch devices, use Restore Purchases on the paywall or in Settings, Subscription. The restore needs the same store account that made the purchase.
Entitlement and termination
Premium is a license to use features, not a property right. It creates no claim on any specific feature or on the continuity of the service. We may suspend or end Premium where you breach the Terms of Use, where a payment is reversed or charged back, where we must comply with law, or where we discontinue the feature or service in accordance with those terms.
